Question

Answer

Why does my Bengal pee in the sink?

Asian Leopard Cats pee in streams in the wild when they want their scent washed away. This is basically the opposite of marking. Marking is peeing in a place for all to smell - especially rivals and potential mates. So if your cat is peeing in the sink, be glad! He expects you to follow up with briskly running water like the stream his ancestor would have used. Of course a little Clorox might be nice too.

A cat who will pee in the sink is only one step away from being toilet trained. Go for it!
